This Milox FAQ groups the questions people ask most. Longer guides live on the money pages linked below.
Account and signup
Join with email on milox.in/auth or Google Play. No phone OTP. Adults 18+ only — see age policy and how it works.
Privacy
Use a display name, keep your number private, and decide what to post. Read anonymous dating and the privacy policy.
Safety
Block and report in-app. Never send money to someone you met online. Start with the Safety Centre, Is Milox safe? and safe dating checklist.
Chat and product
See features, mutual-interest chat and Milox Points. Reels are short videos posted in the Android app. The website can watch an approved Reel. A new Reel is reviewed before other people see it, and it stays until the author deletes it.
Frequently asked questions
Is Milox free?+
Yes. Joining Milox is free, and new members receive a welcome bonus of 500 Milox Points. Some optional features may use Points or Premium.
Do I need a phone number to join Milox?+
No. You sign up with an email address. Milox does not ask for a phone number or an OTP to create an account.
How is Milox different from swipe apps?+
Milox is a social dating app. You share posts, photos and stories so people can see your personality, and chat opens only after mutual interest instead of after a swipe.
Can strangers message me?+
No. Private chat opens only after mutual interest, which helps prevent random messages from people you have not connected with.
Is Milox available on iPhone?+
Milox is available on the web and on Google Play. You can use the web version on any device, including iPhone browsers.
How old do I have to be?+
You must be 18 or older to use Milox. See the age policy.
How do I report someone or delete my account?+
Use the report option in the app and read the Safety Centre. To remove your account and data, follow the steps on how to delete your account.
Who runs Milox?+
Milox is operated by Golax India Private Limited. See the About page and Editorial standards.
Does Milox have video calls?+
Yes — in the Android app after mutual-interest chat opens. Video calls are not available on the website.
What is a Reel?+
A Reel is a short video. You post it in the Android app. Other people see it only after review. The website can play an approved Reel but cannot create one.
How long does a Reel stay up?+
Until you delete it, or you delete your account. A story is different: it disappears after about 24 hours.
Who can see my Reel?+
While it is in review or rejected, only you can see it. After it is approved, a public account’s Reel can be opened on the website without logging in, and search engines may list it. A private account keeps the same lock as posts.
How do I delete or report a Reel?+
Delete your own Reel from the app. To report someone else's Reel, use the report option on the Reel. A report does not remove it instantly. Milox reviews it and may reject it. The person who posted it is told the reason.
What are Milox Points?+
Points are an in-app balance. You get a welcome bonus and can earn more; a small amount may be used to send interest so outreach stays intentional. See how Milox Points work.
Is Milox safe?+
Milox designs for fewer random DMs, and provides block, report and moderation tools. No app can guarantee every user is genuine — follow safety habits and read Is Milox safe?
Can I use Milox without posting?+
Yes. You can browse Discover and chat after matches without posting, though posts help people get to know you.
